Life as a Museum

short film 4’33’’

In September 2019, The Hague’s Literature Museum acquired a large part of the oeuvre of F. Starik (1958-2018). A whole program of poetry and photographic installations was presented there as a tribute to Starik, the poet of Amsterdam who, among other things, initiated a unique movement of writing poems for lonely funerals and reciting them at the ceremonies.
“We are story machines. Our job, as though it were common sense is to return to people their stories that have somehow been lost along the way” F.Starik
