To create a climate in which tomatoes can grow, a greenhouse relies on gas and electricity, water, dripping irrigation systems, fertilizer, hybrid seeds, CO2 Handling Units, LED lamps, glass, rockwool, ventilation fans, trolleys, spraying tanks, bumblebee hotels, cemented floors, wireless sensors and a wide-range wireless system. One tomato plant can reach up to 40 meters high in a greenhouse. It can ripen up to one ton of tomato fruit in a season. Will the future bring more advanced technologies?
